Lost Vegas: Empire Boardwalk Press Conference, for Premier PR

Lost Vegas was drafted in by Premier Pr to help out with a press conference for the release of the 3rd season of HBO’s tv series Boardwalk Empire.

HBO’s Boardwalk Empire is an American television series set in Atlantic City, New Jersey during the Prohibition era of the 1920s. It stars Steve Buscemi as Nucky Thompson. The show was adapted by Emmy Award-winning screenwriter and producer Terence Winter (of The Sopranos[2])

Boardwalk Empire tells the legendary tale of the gambling mecca’s origins. Entourage pair Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson produce.

Boardwalk Empire has received widespread critical acclaim, particularly for its visual style and basis on historical figures, as well as for Buscemi’s lead performance. The series has won twelve Emmy Awards and has received 30 nominations, including two for Outstanding Drama Series. The series also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Drama.

Premier Pr wanted an authentic 1920’s setting and theme so journalists could get a feel for the show.

Tommy Guns Salon in Regent Street was the venue chosen to host the event. Tommy Guns in Regent Street is a traditional a Barber shop restored with original features from 1920s.

Journalists were invited to try have a traditional wet shave and ladies got a 1920s makeup and hairstyle makeover!

Whilst sipping 1920’s Whisky cocktails journalists had the opportunity to try out some gaming on Lost Vegas’s authentic Blackjack Table, John our professional croupier explained the game of 21 and how to play it and the guests had some fun playing cards.
